The Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta:
This beautiful, damaged cathedral, with its late Romanesque façade and Renaissance structure, was originally built on a previous temple to Apollo, but was destroyed in 1265 by the Saracens. It was rebuilt by the Anjou, but was later damaged by the many earthquakes that hit the area.

The Villa Comunale:
Covering over 40,000 square meters, this is one of the most beautiful green parks in the region.
